Second Engineer fan art. Though it’s more of an OC than anything. I can’t resist.

Rhishuaa is the opposite to Anishuu; a carefree, stop and smell the roses (all the time) individual who’s loyalty is both intense and tenuous. Early in his years, he was a part of a developmental research team lead by a very ambitious Elder who would use any means to achieve his goals. After experiencing first hand some of the horrific experimentation’s this Elder oversaw, Rhishuaa’s doubt on his moral standing shifted and he found himself repulsed by what he witnessed. Leaving his team, he chose to focus on preserving existing life. Unfortunately this often impacted his relationships with others. While many understood the necessity of sacrificing ones self for the sake of their people, Rhishuaa rejected this fully. Often times, he would actively work to sabotage events that would lead to deaths of those he cared about most. Many who had uncovered his deceit abandoned him entirely until most he knew were those holding similar ideals as he.

Side Note: When I finally finished this piece, I was left a little disenchanted with the other one so I plan on fixing it so that it matches the detailing with this. I'll be updating it probably later today.

Love the colors you used and the fact it looks primitive but at the same time evolved, capable to create life and travel through the universe. I like the detail of the flute in his hand and the hood on the head. Beautiful.

While I have to admit I'm more of a fan of the angry, tough, military type of Engineer, it is really nice to see one of these guys cracking a smile. He looks so sweet and happy and...almost coy. Like he's thinking "those other fools don't know what they're missing out on." This whole piece has a really playful vibe, and I love it. It's always nice to see another side to these guys!

That's pretty much him in a nut shell. To a degree, he enjoys rubbing it into others that the experiences gained through life hold more value than the overarching advancements they make. In that regard, a lot feel as though he's holding himself higher than others so he comes off as a bit of a jerk sometimes. :p

By the way, I need to upload some small work I did based on your fan fiction. Not sure if I want to wait though until I finish the work for chapter two or just go for it now. =p

Lol, I did kind of get that "self-righteous Hippie" vibe from him. I could totally see him driving the more traditional Engineers up the wall. That just makes me love him all the more though :D
