I ended up doing most of this piece during my trip to Offutt, but I didn't end up finishing it since I got squished between two people on the plane ride home. Since I figured the sweaty big guy and lanky chick sitting either side of me didn't want to view a half naked quarter demon conjuring magic, I had to wait till I got home to finish it.

Cripes you're good. Browsing through todays deviatuons (crap...crap...crap...great googly moogly!) Your pencilwork is very refined, keep up the good work!
It was actually done on plain white paper in my sketchbook. I have a big paper tablet filled with different paper texture types that I scanned a while ago, so what I did was lay the graphite drawing over one of those in photoshop, then multiply the graphite layer. Kind of cheating but hey the end result looked spiffy! ^_^
Thanks for the comment on the hands too! His right hand I was clueless on what I wanted it to look like and while I was in my hotel I finally figure out what to do with it. Although if you look at his body and arms scaled down... he kind of looks like he's doing a karate chop move. LOL Something I didn't notice until tonight.
Ok so by now you know I just love your sexy men. But there's such a great sense of movement with this picture I had to fav it. It's so beautiful. The left arm seems a bit... I dunno. There just seems to be something wrong with it. Is it a tiny bit out of proportion?

His left our our left? Actually I'm thinking that his right arm is still smaller than the left one. It was a struggle just to get that arm to look decent due to the shortage of space on the paper. I hate running out of room in my sketchbook sheets! >.<
Oh, he has teh niiiiiiiice horns! Great job on the hair, and I like the way you made the cloth hang. I also like the way you added shading behind the fiery hand, but left the rest of the paper clear, it gives the pic a more sort of, interesting feel. Not to mention let's the fire shine out more!
